- Dr Sanjaykumar Shivapuje was born on March 16th November 1982 in Latur in a middle class family.
- He has been a distinguished student throughout his academic currier.He did his primary education from Shri Deshikendra High school Latur,and completed junior college with meritorious grades in Dayanand Science College latur.
- He is a MBBS Graduate of Grant Medical College & Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals Mumbai,one of the oldest and reputed medical college in India.
- After completing his Graduation he did MD (Medicine) and DM (Cardiology) from same institute - Grant Medical College & Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals Mumbai.
- He has served as an Assistant Professor,Department of Cardiology, GMC , Mumbai, after completion of DM cardiology for one year.Dr.
- Shivapuje has been practising Invasive and Non-Invasive cardiology from last 6 years
- He has Performed more than 15000 Echocardiography (adult , Pediatrics & neonatal),more than 10000 stress tests,more than 5000 coronary angiography and more than 1500 Angioplasty procedures including the most complex cases like Left Main,CTO,Bifurcation,primary angioplasty so far in a several hospitals in latur till date (may 2020).
- He has special expertise in Device closure of holes in heart,balloon Valvotomy and peripheral Interventions.
- He has established interventional cardiology services as a Chief Interventional Cardiologist,at Lifecare hospital,udgir in 2015.
- He has pioneered Radial Intervention,Balloon Mitral/ Pumonary /Aortic Valvotomy,Cardiac Cath Study,Device ASD/PDA closure,Advanced Permanent Pacemaker ( ICD) Implantation, Peripheral Intervention in Latur.
- In recognition of his knowledge and contributions,he has been conferred the Fellowship Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions (USA) (FIT SCAI).
